Donation and Fund-raising
KESAN works to empower rural communities, especially in Eastern Burma where most non-governmental organizations or International non-governmental organizations are not able or willing to access, to initiate projects that improve their food security, protect community forests, community watersheds, and preserve their culture and traditional knowledge.

Because KESAN is working with remote and isolated communities that are not known to most funding agencies, finding financial support for projects initiated by these communities is difficult.

You can help KESAN to work toward sustainable livelihoods and environmental security in Eastern Burma by donating to or fundraising for a specific project within your capacity.
Volunteer
KESAN is constantly looking for volunteers who are interested in sustainable development, sustainable resource management, indigenous rights and social justice who would like to work in Thailand. In the past few years, we have had a numbers of volunteers from different parts the world. Currently we have volunteers from Canada, New Zealand and Philippines.  Some volunteers work with us on a short-term basis (minimum three months) and others have been with us for a couple of years.
KESAN is very grateful to current and past volunteers. They have made many invaluable contributions to KESAN.

Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or want to know more about our work.
